This unique golf event originated in 2011 when these two very worthwhile charitable organizations decided to team up and hold a collaborative event/fundraiser.

Since both of these non-profit groups provide emergency shelter to different demographics seeking a safe place to stay, it seemed to be a perfect partnership. This perfect fit was confirmed immediately when the idea was presented to the community and overwhelming support was received.

Back in June 2011 (the first year) we also had the opportunity to team up with Ed Stelmach Foundation. Another great fit with a similar mandate and vision Premier Stelmach was able to attend the event and a portion of the proceeds raised that first year went to support the Ed Stelmach Foundation who in turn made a donation right back to our community.

This event is all about bringing the community together to have FUN and support the incredible work being done by the staff of both Odyssey House and Sunrise House. The unique format encourages a good time by all and is the reason many people rate it as the BEST charity golf tournament in the region!

Thanks to a generous Sponsor we are also able to host a reception the night before the tournament thanking all our supporters. 

​

We will also have a $500,000 Hole in One shootout once again this year! Thanks to a generous sponsors there is an opportunity for a chance to win half a million dollars all while supporting a great cause.

​

Funds raised at this event are critical to ensuring these two much needed shelters can adapt to the changing needs in our growing community. Since 2011 over $910,000 has been split between Odyssey House and Sunrise House as a result of this very successful golf tournament.
